School Meals Now Free for All Catskill Students

New for 2017-18!

We are delighted to inform you that the Catskill Central School District will be implementing the Community Eligibility Provision meal certification program for the 2017-2018 school year.

What does this mean for your child(ren) who are enrolled in Catskill Central School District?

* ALL students, PreK – 12, enrolled in the Catskill Central School District are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at no charge to your household each school day of the 2017-2018 school year.

* No further action is required of you.

* Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit an application.

What is the Community Eligibility Provision?

The Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) is a federal program that provides free breakfast and lunch to all students at qualifying school districts, regardless of income. CEP will be replacing the Free and Reduced Lunch Program at Catskill Central School District for the 2017-2018 school year.

Is there an application?

No application is required.

Will my child(ren) still need a MySchoolBucks account?

Individual student accounts may be maintained through MySchoolBucks. This allows families to prepay for additional breakfast/lunch purchases such as à la carte items, snack milk, ice cream, extra snacks, a second lunch, etc. (i.e. items beyond a standard breakfast/lunch). Alternatively, you may request a refund of these funds.
