Basketball Program Spearheads Disaster Relief Effort

Catskill High School’s boys and girls basketball program sponsored a disaster relief collection this September to aid those affected by the recent hurricanes that devastated parts of the southern United States. Students gathered personal essentials like water, toothpaste, toothbrushes, paper towels, pet food, toilet paper, cleaning products, and work gloves. A truck sponsored by Borwegen Trucking and loaded with goods our students collected left Greene County on September 23 headed first to Houston and then on to Florida.

Pictured here are William Bartholomew, Coach Doug Lampman, Justice Brantley, and Ashley Shook with some of the donations they helped collect. At CHS, Cats can and Cats will!
