Don’t Be A Monster

On October 24th, Catskill Elementary School welcomed an illusionist from Headless Horseman Hay Rides and Haunted Houses. During his “Don’t be a Monster” presentation, our 4th and 5th graders learned about different types of bullying and ways to stand up to kids who pick on them or others.

Frank Shelly, the presentation’s mascot, appeared on stage to shake hands with students and reminded them to be kind to others regardless of who they are, what they look like and what they believe.

The strong message of tolerance and inclusion received a warm welcome from the CES audience.
