Thank you to everyone who contributed to Catskill Elementary School’s Business Club Food Drive! This food helps the Matthew 25 Food Pantry and our weekend backpack program. Since 2012, the Business Club has been helping distribute backpacks of food for the weekend to students who are in need.

Below are the totals of food collected per grade level, with the winning class being Mrs. Near’s 4th grade homeroom with 40 lbs. For collecting the most food, they win an ice cream party from the Business Club.

Kindergarten: 3 lbs.
Grade 1: 12 lbs.
Grade 2: 73 lbs.
Grade 3: 48 lbs.
Grade 4: 97 lbs.
Grade 5: 21 lbs.
Grade total: 254 lbs. of food!

In addition, we had one parent who stopped at WalMart and WalMart is giving the Food Pantry a $100 gift card to purchase food for the program. This is exciting news! Thank you to everyone who continues to support the CES Business Club.
