4th Grade Native American Life Museum

The fourth grade hosted its annual Native American Life Museum at CES on January 31.

After learning about the Haudenosaunee and Algonquian people, who lived in our area long before it was New York State, each fourth grade student chose a specific aspect of their lives in the 1400s to research. After becoming an expert, students wrote an informational picture book in school and created a related project at home. Students demonstrated what they learned about their topic by sharing their books and  related home projects with parents and grades 3 and 5, who were all invited to visit the museum.
