Twenty-one students lent their talents to Catskill High School’s 2019 Cat’n Around Catskill cat, including students in CHS art classes, Art Club, as well as some who were just interested in being a part of this cool project. This year’s cat is “Catical Illusions,” sponsored by eye doctor Christine Scrodanus on Main Street, where the cat will be placed on display from Memorial Day through mid-September. It joins other cats by local artists (including students at CES) on display around downtown Catskill, and will be auctioned off as part of The Heart of Catskill Association’s Cat’s Meow Gala and Auction on September 21, 2019.
