Catskill Central School District congratulates senior Iain Alexander on his being named a Commended Student in the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program. This honor recognizes Iain for the exceptional academic promise he demonstrated with his outstanding performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) last October. Out of over 1.5 million students who took the PSAT/NMSQT in 2018, Iain was among the top 50,000 highest scorers! On September 18th, CHS Principal Benjamin Bragg had the pleasure of presenting Iain with an official Letter of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation recognizing his accomplishment.
