Catskill High School will host its 2019 Veterans Day Observation on Friday, November 8 at 9:00 a.m. in the school’s auditorium. Area veterans and their auxiliaries are cordially invited to attend and be recognized.

The event seeks to instill a sense of tradition, respect, honor and gratitude toward those who served or currently serve in our nation’s armed services, and remind our students of the significance of Veterans Day and why it is a national holiday. Veteran guests will be seated in the front of the auditorium and, as part of the recognition, will be asked to introduce themselves and share their time served, branch of service and unit (participation is voluntary).

Guests are asked to arrive at 8:30 a.m. to be seated. Light refreshments will be served in the school library after the assembly. For more information, please contact our school at 518-943-2300 ext. 2171.
