A Day at the Alley

On December 9, the Catskill Central School District’s Physical Education department hosted an off-campus bowling event. Students from both the elementary and secondary campuses, along with their classroom teachers and support staff, took a bus to Hoebowl Bowling Centers in Catskill. The experience provided students with an opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of the sport of bowling and have a lot of fun doing it. Bowling is a life-long activity that can promote both health and wellness, and the trip showed students local resources available for them to play or join a bowling league. Retired CES teacher and current Catskill varsity bowling coach Lenny Reyngoudt helped host the event with the PE staff.
