The Catskill Central School District 2020-2021 Budget Vote and Board of Education Election is Tuesday, June 9, 2020. In the interest of public safety due to the COVID-19 pandemic, voting this year will take place using absentee ballots only, per Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order. Every eligible voter will receive an absentee ballot and a postage-paid return envelope in the mail.
You are an eligible voter if you are:
- A U.S. Citizen
- 18 years old by June 9, 2020
- Registered to vote
- Live within the Catskill Central School District boundaries for at least 30 days prior to June 9, 2020
Anyone who meets the definition of a “qualified voter” but has not registered to vote, must do so to receive an absentee ballot. A qualified voter may register with the county or with the school district.
