The Anti-Defamation League has designated Catskill Middle School as “No Place For Hate.”
No Place for Hate is a school-directed program that builds inclusive and safe communities in which all students can thrive. It empowers students, faculty, and administrators to stand together against hate and bullying by incorporating new and existing programs under one powerful message that all students deserve respect and a place to belong. To earn designation as a No Place for Hate school, CMS conducted a needs assessment, undertook anti-bias and bullying prevention training, formed a student-involved No Place for Hate committee that designed and implemented school-wide anti-bias and bullying prevention activities, and had the student body sign a school-wide Resolution of Respect. Cats Can and Cats Will!
