October 23, 2020
Dear Catskill Parents and Guardians:
Effective Monday, October 26, 2020, we are bringing back some students to the District 4 days (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays) a week for in-person instruction. Please allow these students to be identified as Team 4. Unfortunately, we are cannot safely bring all Team 4 students back to the District at one time. The District must comply with CDC regulations regarding social distancing and the size of our classrooms limits the amount of individuals we can have in one space. Our principals and / or assistant principals have contacted all Team 4 parents whose children are scheduled to be brought back to District 4 days a week effective, Monday, October 26, 2020.
Other Team 4 students will be staggered back into the District on Monday, November 2, 2020 and Monday, November 9, 2020. Again, you will receive notification from your child’s building principal and/or assistant principal. Please do not plan to send your child to school 4 days a week until you receive notification.
In closing, we are continuing with Hybrid in-person instruction 2 days a week for Group A and Group B students.
As always, I can be reached at (518) 943-4696 for questions as well.
Dr. Ronel Cook,
Superintendent of Schools
