On April 20, 2021, the Board of Education adopted the proposed budget for the 2021-2022 school year. The budget was created to continue Catskill Central School District’s current student programs and staffing, while reducing the burden to our taxpayers. The budget totals $46,052,273 and carries a tax levy increase of 1.97%, which is under the State’s allowable tax cap of 4.15%. The budget is up a total of $3,171,061 (7.39%) from the current year’s budget. The District applied $2,677,295 in fund balance to reduce the tax levy increase.
A public hearing on the budget is scheduled for May 5, 6:00 p.m. in the Catskill High School library.

The annual School Budget Vote and Board Election is May 18, 2021 from 1:00–9:00 p.m. in the Catskill High School gymnasium.
