This May, our life skills class at CHS learned about and honored those who serve. They read about Armed Forces Day (which was celebrated May 15, 2021) and decorated a tree in class as a tribute to all members of the armed forces. For National Police Week (May 9-15, 2021), the students made a card thanking the Catskill Police Department for their dedication, service, and for keeping our community safe! As part of their regular walk for exercise around town, the class met with Catskill Police in the parking lot by the Catskill Creek, where the students presented the officers with their card and some treats!
