CHS Students Take 1-2-3 in Suicide Prevention Poster Contest

Congratulation to Catskill High School’s Charlie Dubois, Isaiah Hayden, and Jamiaha Linder for taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, respectively, in the Columbia-Greene Suicide Prevention Coalition Poster Contest! As the 1st place winner, Charlie’s design (center) was made into posters and postcards that will be distributed across Columbia and Greene counties. The idea of the contest was bring awareness to suicide and its prevention, and to reiterate with young people that it is something we should all be talking about. The students completed their work as part of their health class with CHS health teacher Colleen Clancy.
