Important Information From Dr. Cook: Year-End Events

Dear Catskill Parents/Guardians,

With the end of this school year near at hand, I want to remind you of the following important events and close-out procedures:

June 14, 2022: Last day of in-person instruction for High School students

June 15 – June 23, 2022: Regents Exams

June 17 -June 23: Half-days of school for Elementary and Middle School students. CMS dismissal 10:30 am / CES 11:30 am

June 20, 2022: Juneteenth (Holiday) – Schools and District Offices are closed

June 21 -June 24, 2022: Chromebook and Return of Materials 7:00 am – 4:00 pm – CHS parking lot underneath the white tent

June 21, 2022: Pre-Kindergarten Moving Up Ceremony 9:30 am – CES Cafetorium

June 22, 2022: Grade 8 Moving Up Ceremony 8:00am – CHS Auditorium

June 22, 2022: Kindergarten Moving Up Ceremony 9:30 am – CES Cafetorium

June 23, 2022: Grade 5 Moving Up Ceremony 9:30 am – CES Cafetorium

June 23, 2022: Last of day of school

June 24, 2022: High School Graduation 6:00 pm – CMS Front Lawn

In closing, we encourage families to follow the moving up and graduation procedures outlined by our principals for number of guests and areas to park. I also encourage our families to report to the celebrations 30 minutes prior to the start time for security vetting purposes. I thank the Catskill LLC, Catskill PD, State Police and Greene County Sheriff in advance.

Lastly, I want to thank the community for your continued support throughout my five years of tenure in the District. It’s been a pleasure to serve as your superintendent and I wish you and my successor the very best. Cats Can, Can Will!!
