Dear Community Member:

The Catskill CSD Board of Education is searching for a new superintendent of schools. As part of our search process, we are seeking to engage a Stakeholder Advisory Committee representing teachers, staff, administrators and community members to assist the Board with interviewing candidates for the position. Please contact our Board Clerk Judy Kusminsky at jkusminsky@catskillcsd.org by November 11 if you would like to be considered for this interview committee. You must be available on the following evenings as part of this commitment:

· Thursday, December 1, 5-6:30 p.m., in-person orientation and training session

· Monday, December 5, 5-8 p.m., for in-person interviews

· Tuesday, December 6, 5-7 p.m., for in-person interviews

We know this is a large time commitment, but it is valuable for the Board to gather a diverse group of individuals to gain insight into the needs of our district.

The Board is working with Questar III BOCES as part of its search process. The Board will select committee members at its November meeting. Questar III will then contact committee members with more information on the process.
