Message from Superintendent Barrow: CHS to Shift to Remote Learning

Catskill Families and Community,

We are dismissing all Catskill High School students at 10:30 a.m. today, Monday March 27. Students will be dismissed early out of an abundance of caution after a broken pipe was discovered under the building that was used by our science classes. The broken pipe is in an isolated area in the high school crawl space.

CHS will shift to remote learning for the remainder of this week. Students will engage in remote learning beginning tomorrow Tuesday, March 28, 2023. More information regarding the schedule for this week will be sent out by the High School Principal.

All after-school sports will meet in the Middle School gym today and for the rest of the week.

This does not affect the Catskill Middle School building and classes at the Middle School will continue as normal today and for the rest of the week.

We will be providing you with additional information by the end of the week.

As always, safety is our first priority at Catskill Central School District.

Sincerely,

Melissa A. Barrow
