CHS Students’ Artwork to Appear in Juried Show

Congratulations to Catskill High School’s Jiselle Caswell and Callie Rose, whose artwork will appear in the Columbia-Greene Community College High School Art Show happening February 8 through March 3 at the college. It is a big honor to be chosen for this juried show, which  features artwork from schools across Columbia and Greene counties. The show’s organizers ask each high school art teacher to choose only two students to participate. CHS art teacher Wendy Doney selected Jiselle’s gridded pencil portrait and Callie’s folded book sculpture to represent Catskill in this year’s show. The opening reception is Thursday, February 8 from 4-6 pm in the Foundation Gallery at C-GCC. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony happening at 4:30 p.m. Come see their art and enjoy some snacks in the company of up-and-coming young artists in our area. The exhibition will remain up through March 3, 2024.
