Catskill’s superintendent of schools, Dr. Dan Wilson, hosted our first Donuts with Dr. Dan community conversation on October 30. The topic for this session was school safety. Dr. Wilson and members of law enforcement shared information and answered questions about the measures our schools have in place to keep everyone safe, from regular emergency drills and campus security technology such as our Raptor visitor management system and keyless electronic door lock system, to hall monitors, armed security personnel, and our school resource deputy. Dr. Wilson also discussed how our school works closely with law enforcement to review and update our safety procedures based on the latest information.
