The Catskill Elementary Student Council participated in the Catskill Winter Solstice event on December 21. Council members and a few other CES students braved the cold to walk down Main Street in Catskill. Each of our students were given a lantern as they walked as part of the Winter Solstice Procession. CES Student Council Advisor Barb Erceg said, “We are very thankful for the invitation to participate! We also want to give a special thanks to parents for bringing and walking with the kiddos! Great event for Catskill and a big thank you to all the vendors and merchants!” Wishing everyone a healthy and happy holiday season!
