Congratulations to Catskill High School senior Ava Edmond, who scored her 1,000th career point during Catskill’s 51-23 victory over Chatham on January 10!
“An amazing accomplishment for an amazing young lady. We’ve been blessed to sit courtside for the last four years and watch this probable D1 softball player develop into the most dominant Patroon Conference basketball player,” remarked Catskill’s girls varsity head coach, Chris Quinn. “All the girls except Ava knew exactly how many points she needed tonight to get to her 1,000 and it was pretty awesome to watch them be so excited for her.”
Cats can and Cats will!
