Catskill Central School District’s varsity boys basketball, varsity girls basketball, and varsity boys volleyball teams all made the grade as scholar athlete teams for the 2024-25 winter season! Each of these teams received a certificate from the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) recognizing their scholarly achievements. In order to qualify as a scholar athlete team, the team must be varsity level and hold a collective grade point average of 90 or better among at least 75 percent of the athletes on the roster. Any varsity athlete who held a GPA of 90 or higher will also receive a scholar athlete pin from the NYSPHSAA.
