Run/Walk NY Providence Incentive Trip

For three hours on May 9, the rain held off just long enough for Catskill High School physical education students to enjoy the famous Providence River Walk in Providence, Rhode Island. Students who have been tacking their mileage in class were rewarded with a visit to this historic and vibrant city as part of their final incentive trip. While in Providence, students walked three miles along the scenic river path, stopping to explore various cultural and historical landmarks. As the weather turned, the group transitioned indoors to enjoy lunch and additional walking throughout the Providence Place Mall.
“We extend our sincere thanks to the school administration for their continued support of this popular and growing fitness program. We’re excited for another year of staying active and exploring new places together,” remarked Catskill PE teacher Douglas Lampman.
