Take a walk down Tasty Street – a miniature village has sprung up in the CES Lobby that looks oh-so sweet. These gingerbread houses were made by CES students who wanted to help us spread some holiday cheer. They will be in the school’s display case now through December 19.

CHS Junior Selected for Area All-State

Catskill High School choral student Ava Higgins was selected to attend and perform at the Zone 9 Area All-State Festival held at Suffern Central School District on November 22 and 23, 2019. There, the junior joined other top student performers from around the region in singing with the Mixed Choir ensemble.

Balloon Towers

6th grade STEAM classes took on a tower-building exercise using some pretty challenging materials. Each group had a limited amount of balloons, tape, and time with which to build the tallest tower they could. The record for this year stacked up to an impressive 40 inches!

A team representing Catskill CSD attended the STEAMing Towards Success conference hosted by our regional BOCES. The focus of the conference was on creating partnerships between businesses and schools in order to prepare students for success in 21st Century STEAM careers.
