The Catskill Elementary School Student Council raised $2562 this December to help an area family pay the medical bills and other expenses.

At the November 16th Board of Education Meeting, the newly elected officers of the Catskill Elementary Student Council were sworn into office.

CES honored local veterans on November 10th with two ceremonies honoring local veterans from WWII to active duty service members.

Lily Gallagher, Molly Osswald, Paul Truncale, Taylor Rogers, Emily Allen, and Mia Gottesman were chosen to participate in the 2016 GCMEA Elementary All-County Chorus.

Over twenty firefighters from the local departments visited our school to show the students their firetrucks and other firefighting equipment.

Early in the school year Andrew D. Randazzo from Cornell Cooperative Extension came to speak to third graders about the Monarch Butterfly Life Cycle.

Mr. Rice and Mrs. Tedford’s third grade classes celebrated Constitution Day by creating their own constitution for their classrooms.
