9th grade

Wendy Chee: Wendy has dedicated herself to mastering the Spanish language. She is proficient in speaking, reading, writing and listening in Spanish. When she started the course, she realized she had some catching up to do and she ran to the roar; she studied and worked hard to make up for the gap between her skills and the course. When her teacher asked for student feedback, she shared her opinion and gave valuable feedback that informed their instruction and how they guided the community forward. She is one of the main reasons we are a strong and thriving community today. Wendy has consistently been hard working, conscientious, helpful to others and the teacher, and is not afraid to speak up or step out of her comfort zone when/ if challenged. Wendy also participates in extracurricular events/ programs; is a humble yet exemplary student and role model.

Alessandro Cavero Caceres: Alessandro is a great student who deserves to be recognized for his hard work and achievements. He currently has high grades in Global 10, always has his work done and will help anyone who needs assistance. Alessandro is always willing to help his fellow classmates and teachers; additionally, he himself is a model student in every aspect.

Kaylee Sperl: Kaylee consistently shows effort above and beyond in her academic classes. Her work ethic is excellent, often putting extra work into her assignments outside of class with the goal of turning in high quality and creative work. Kaylee uses time in her academic seminar and after school to work with teachers and get extra help when needed. In addition, Kaylee is always kind and supportive of her classmates and contributes to a very positive classroom culture. Kaylee is willing to take chances when giving answers in class. She is not discouraged if incorrect, and uses these moments as learning experiences.

Cassen Sickler: Cassen deserves to be recognized because he is motivated to graduate. He has been working hard both in class as a student and on the volleyball court as an athlete. He is kind, respectful and honest.
