I was born and raised in Catskill, graduated from Catskill High School in 1991 and received an Associates in Science from Columbia-Greene Community College. I am a New York State licensed Land Surveyor that owns and operates my own business, Holtz Surveying, in Catskill.

Having a daughter within the school district, I appreciate the hard work of the teachers and educators within the district.

Having the opportunity to serve on the board for the last year taking a seat from a member that resigned, I’ve been able to be part of the current board moving the school district forward in a better direction. The current board was tasked with finding a new superintendent. Being part of the process of hiring a superintendent and we found an excellent candidate and hired Mr. Junait Shah for superintendent.

Moving forward, there is still more work to be done in supporting our teachers and educators to have the resources needed for all the children within the district for them to have a successful education for their future.

I would like to continue working with and supporting Mr. Shah to see the children of the district have a successful future.
