Ryan Osswald has lived in Catskill for 23 years with his wife Jennifer and their 2 children. Ryan has been an employee at Mid-Hudson Cablevision for 25 years, employed as a production engineer and director/producer of many of the local programming seen on Cablevision Channel 11 as well as local television commercials. Now filling the role of Head End and IP Video Engineer. As an active member of the community Ryan has served as past President and Treasurer of the Catskill Kiwanis Club and was an active member of the club for 20 years. Ryan served as a past board member and President of the Catskill Little League as well as team manager and coach. Ryan is currently the Scoutmaster for Hudson Boy Scout Troop 102. Ryan is a graduate of Hudson High School, and holds an Associates degree from Columbia Greene Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting and Communication from Marist College.
Ryan has been a long-time board member and would like to continue his role as a Catskill School Board Member with the communities support. Ryan would like to continue to serve due to his strong belief in quality education and as a good steward of the taxpayers in the Catskill School District. And to provide continuity and support to the Catskill School District during these unprecedented and turbulent times due to the Covid-19 Crisis which has and will continue to impact the Catskill Educational Community.
Ryan’s wife, Jennifer is a Licensed Social Worker; his Son Dylan is a 2020 Catskill graduate and is completing his Associates degree from Columbia-Greene Community College. His Daughter Molly is a Junior at Catskill High School. Ryan is fully supported in his run for the Catskill School Board by his family and would be most thankful for the community’s support as well.
