Family Math Game Night

Are you ready to make math more exciting than it’s ever been? Greg Tang, Jr. from Tang Math is going to make this happen for all students, teachers and families here at Catskill Elementary school on Thursday, March 28.
Mr. Tang is the creator of Tangy Tuesdays, Ten Frame Mania and NumTanga. He is a master game developer, programmer, word problem expert and favorite among students, teachers and parents across the country. He personally does over 200 workshops per year and his online math resources have been used by over 10 million people world-wide. He and his team are coming to visit our school for the ultimate day of learning and fun. During the school day, they will be working with students and teachers. They will be bringing all of their online games in card and board game format – including NumTanga, Kakooma, Math Limbo, Tangy Jeopardy and more, and will be giving our school all of these materials to keep!
Students and their families are asked to return to school at 6:30 p.m. so parents and guardians can play these same games with their children! We’re going to help families think about numbers and math in new and better ways. Students and parents will rotate through different math stations – each with a different fun activity that they will learn, play, and will want to keep on doing at home!
