Catskill High School senior Isabel Johnston was selected for the NYSSMA All-State Wind Ensemble for the second consecutive year! Last year, she was a member of the All-State Symphonic Band, and this year, she has earned a place in the Wind Ensemble. As a smaller, highly selective group, the Wind Ensemble makes this an especially impressive accomplishment.
Each year, thousands of talented student musicians from across New York State audition for the opportunity to participate in All-State, but only a select number are chosen. Isabel will perform alongside some of the finest young musicians in the state. Her selection is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and passion for music.
Congratulations, Isabel!
