The CES Student Council’s newly elected officers took their Oath of Office at a swearing in ceremony held during the Board of Education’s December 3 meeting. Board President Junait Shah, Superintendent John Xanthis, and Assistant Superintendent Deb Johnson administered the Oath. Congratulations to President Austin Ormerod, Vice President Cormac Garrison, Secretary Eliana Shah and Treasurer Jacob Jansen. The officers were elected to their positions by their fourth and fifth grade peers on Election Day, November 4, after a two-week campaign. 2025 marks the 17th year of having the Board swear in our CES officers. Their advisor, Ms. Erceg said, “This has become such a wonderful tradition for Student Council and we are so honored to have this opportunity each year. Thank you to all involved to make this happen!”
