On Wednesday, Catskill Elementary School celebrated its newly improved gymnasium with a ribbon-cutting ceremony highlighting the addition of a new rock wall, gym floors, and updated wall mats.
“Along with the new rock wall, we have refinished our gym floors and installed new wall mats, improving the overall appearance of the gym and creating a refreshed environment for our students to learn, play, and grow,” said CES Principal Stacey Connor.
The updated gym provides new opportunities for our students to try new activities, challenge themselves, build confidence create community among their fellow classmates.
“We want our students to cheer each other on, celebrate one another’s successes, and understand that everyone climbs at their own pace,” said Connor.
Catskill Elementary School wants to thank the generous donors who made these improvements possible, Catskill Elementary PTA, Catskill Community Center, The Bank of Green County, and Fortnightly Club of Catskill.
