Each year, CES proudly hosts its Veterans Day Ceremony prior to the holiday to honor our Veterans. The school invites all veterans from the community and any relatives of students who are veterans to join in. This year, the CES Student Council gave speeches on the history of Veterans Day, the missing man table, and Flanders Field. Mr. Carl, our CES music teacher, also sang the ” Star Spangled Banner.” pamphlets to our students in grades 3-5. Special thanks to American Legion Post 166 for providing the color guard for this event and to VFW Post 770 for distributing patriotic VFW coloring books, crayons, and pamphlets to our students in grades 3-5.
