CES Students Visit the Albany Ronald McDonald House

Nine Catskill Elementary School students joined Mrs. Connor, CES principal, and Ms. Erceg, CES Student Council advisor, on a field trip to the Albany Ronald McDonald House on May 13. The CES Student Council is sponsoring a “Pull Together” Can Tab Collection for the Ronald McDonald House that has collected over 200 pounds of tabs. The top collectors were invited to attend the field trip which was set up by Mrs. Connor. Students took a tour of the three houses that form the Ronald McDonald House and learned about how it benefits families of children receiving treatment at local hospitals. They were able to see some of the themed rooms that families stay in and the many things that are available to the children and families. The students also helped separate the tabs for recycling, which will get money per pound that will go to the Ronald McDonald House. Thank you to everyone that has contributed can tabs to the collection! CES Student Council will continue to collect the tabs, so keep saving them!
