Catskill High School art student Elianna Payette-Bate has had her artwork chosen to be in The 23rd Annual Thacher Nature Art Show, which runs from March 7 to March 29, 2026 at the Thacher State Park Visitor Center in Voorheesville, NY.
Quite an honor, Elianna’s pastel oil has been chosen to be in this annual juried exhibition amongst other talented artists in grades K-12. Students from around our region submitted artwork for consideration and a committee selected what will be included in the show.
The opening reception is Saturday, March 7, from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Thacher Park, now considered a Natural National Landmark, was developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s and features a plethora of marine fossils, natural landmarks, and cliffs to explore.
