Catskill Middle School students enjoyed an unforgettable day at the Tri-City ValleyCats’ annual Education Day game on June 3.
The weather could not have been better for the students to enjoy a live baseball game at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in Troy, while learning valuable lessons about teamwork, perseverance, leadership, and sportsmanship. One of the highlights of the day was the opportunity for students to meet the players and collect their autographs. Many students returned to school with big smiles and signed memorabilia like baseballs, programs, photos ,and other keepsakes.
The trip was made possible through the generous support of the Greene County Legislature and the Catskill Education Foundation, whose sponsorship helped provide this opportunity for our students. We are grateful for their continued investment in our students and their commitment to providing meaningful educational experiences beyond the classroom. It was a memorable day of sunshine, baseball, friendship, and learning that our students will not soon forget!
