CMS Students Lobby for Mental Health

On March 11, some Catskill Middle School students had an opportunity to participate in the Mental Health Matters Day in Albany. Aria Oliver, Saehven Wright, Eleanor Rowell, Shivonne Duarte, and Alison Gerace represented our middle school students along with Catskill High School’s Yellow Ribbon Program. These students had a chance to participate in a rally at the State Capitol as well as meet with Senator Hinchey and Assemblyman Tague as they discussed the importance of mental health funding in our schools and communities. It was a very powerful day and we are very proud of these students!
