Having the tidal Catskill Creek at our doorstep give our schools a unique opportunity to connect students with Catskill’s waterfront. Each year, our PE boating program gets fifth grade students out on the creek to learn safe kayaking and fishing. Special thanks to our Dick’s House of Sport community outreach ambassadors for teaching our students fishing, and to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office for having their patrol boat on hand to provide safety for our paddlers!
