Santa’s Helpers Feed 60 Families This Holiday Season

On behalf of the Catskill High School Student Government, we would like to thank the Catskill community for their generous support of Santa’s Helpers this year. Because of your support, we were able to provide assistance to 60 local families. We raised a record-breaking $12,200, all of which was used to purchase gift cards to Price Chopper and nonperishable food. We would like to thank Justin Slater from Slater’s Pellets and Jim Eisel from Prattsville Great American, who assisted with the purchase of food items and delivery to the school. We would also like to thank the Village of Catskill, Catskill Fire Department, Village Pizza, Pomodoro’s, Goodie’s, Willa’s, Ambrosia Diner, Vesuvio Pizza, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Catskill Chocolate Company for allowing students to collect money in front of their businesses. Additionally, the following businesses gave gracious donations: Story Farms, Verant Wealth, and Catskill Regional Women’s Club. Special shout out to Jeff at Vesuvio Pizza for donating pizza for our students who prepared food baskets. Our community never fails to come out and support their own! We are so grateful for all of you and proud to be a part of this close-knit community.
