In light of the 2026 Winter Olympic Games happening in Italy, Mrs. Beers 4th & 5th grade class did a STEM project that combined design and physics with the Olympic spirit for a gold-medal learning experience! The students created their own skiers using pipe cleaners and aluminum foil, athen strapped them in to popsicle-stick skis with masking tape. Then the students faced off in a series of downhill heats to see who was the fastest!
