Superintendent Search Committee – Community Members Needed for Interview Process

As the Board of Education embarks on the search for our next Superintendent of Schools, we seek the involvement of our greater school community. The Board of Education plans to conduct preliminary interviews with as many as twelve applicants and then narrow the field to three final candidates. At that stage in the process, we will seek the input of members of the Catskill school community.

We are looking for individuals who will be willing to interview each of our three final candidates. In order to serve on one of our two stakeholder committees, you will need to be available on the afternoons of January 21, 22, and 23. Participants must be able to attend on all three dates, as well as the afternoon of November 17. On that date, committee members will meet with our search consultant who will go over the process and guide the committee members in designing questions to be asked in the interviews. The stakeholder interviews will be held on each of the January dates. One stakeholder interview will be held from 1:00-2:15, and the second one will be held from 2:45-4:00. You must attend the same time each day, as well as on November 17.

Thank you for considering participating in our search process. Please complete this survey if you are interested in participating. **Please note that the completion of this survey does not guarantee a spot on the interview committee.**

Sincerely,
The Board of Education at the Catskill Central School District
