Water Safety Information

Beginning in the 2026-2027 school year, New York State Education Law Section 926 requires school districts to provide families with annual information on drowning prevention, water safety, and safe swimming practices. These resources are intended to help families promote safe behaviors around pools, lakes, rivers, and other bodies of water.
