The CHS Yellow Ribbon students walked in the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s “Out of the Darkness” community walk on Sunday, October 5 at Dutchman’s Landing in Catskill. The annual walk is about raising money and gathering together resources to save lives, ease suffering, and share information. It’s about raising awareness and building a supportive and healthy community. It’s about creating a grassroots movement that will change the face of mental illness and suicide in America. Our Yellow Ribbon students are very passionate about this cause, and were honored to be walking and volunteering at this event.
