The Greene County YMCA honored CES teacher Emily Halnon and CHS students Natalia DiCaprio and Riley Coleman at its Outstanding Student & Educator Breakfast held May 7 at Pegasus Restaurant in Coxsackie. Our National Honor Society and FCCLA organized an Earth Day service event where students volunteered to stay after school April 22nd to pick up trash at either Dutchman’s Landing, Elliot Park, or the CHS/CMS campus. Their Earth Rejuvenation Day event was co-sponsored by Walmart, who provided water and snacks for the students following the cleanup.
Our 3rd-5th grade students enjoyed music by talented students from 4th through 12th grade on April 10.
