Our area has abundant outdoor opportunities and part of Catskill’s PE curriculum is getting students out there to enjoy them! A student favorite, fifth grade physical education classes headed to the tidal Catskill Creek across the street from our secondary campus to learn the basics of kayaking and fishing. Special thanks to the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation and our Dick’s House of Sport community outreach ambassadors for helping our students reel in the big ones, and to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office for providing on-the-water-safety for our paddlers!
