Lauren Liberti Showcases EPICH Research at UAlbany

Catskill High School’s Lauren Liberti and other students in Questar III BOCES New Visions: Emergency Preparedness, Informatics, Cyber & Homeland Security (EPICH) program held their end-of-year showcase at University at Albany, SUNY‘s state-of-the-art College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security, and Cybersecurity, where the EPICH program is based.

Student projects covered a variety of issues, including human trafficking, the impact of social media disinformation, driving safety & substance use. Lauren focused on the rise in driving fatalities following September 11, 2001. Congratulations to Lauren on her impressive work!

Lauren and the other students also had the opportunity to showcase their work to UAlbany’s professors, staff and students, which sparked engaging conversations about these critical issues.
