Our school community made Catskill CSD’s Staff vs Staff Basketball Game a big success! The event raised $2,475 to support positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS) incentives in each school. While the combined CMS/CHS team won the game, it is our entire school district, and most importantly, our students, who are the winners.
“Catskill is an amazing place and last evening proved again that collectively we can make great things happen for our students. Congratulations Catskill CSD,” remarked Dr. Cook. “Special thanks to Ms. Bushane and Ms. Konsul for organizing the event. I also would like to thank our custodians, chaperones, individuals who collected admissions, concessions, our cheerleaders from both campuses, our collective staff who attended the game, our staff who played the game, the referees (Mr. James Nearey and Mr. Andy Jones) who volunteered their services, all individuals who manned the scoreboard, shot clocks and recorded the score, our armed security (Mr. Mark Greenlee and Mr. Mike Dodig), community members, our parents and students. “
The event was played November 6, 2019 in the Catskill High School gym and was sponsored by the Catskill Teachers Association.
