The NYS Education Department (NYSED) has canceled all June, 2020 Regents Examinations in response to the COVID-19 emergency. Because of this cancelation, NYSED has changed the requirements that students must meet in order to earn high school diplomas, credentials, and endorsements. Students who were intending to take one or more Regents Exam this June are now exempted from passing those exams in order to be issued diploma credit, and instead will be granted diploma credit as long as they successfully complete their required coursework.
