January 14, 2022
Dear Catskill CSD Community,
I am pleased to inform you that Catskill High School will return to in-person instruction for students on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. High school students pivoted to remote instruction on January 6th, which concluded today, Friday, January 14, 2022. I personally thank our staff, parents and most importantly our students for understanding the need to shift to remote instruction. Again, all district schools will be open (weather pending) for in-person instruction on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
Secondly, the District will be closed this Monday, January 17, 2022 in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. No instruction will take place on Monday. We encourage you and your children to reflect on the life of Dr. King and his contributions to mankind and society.
In closing, I will be monitoring the weather over the holiday weekend. We are anticipating inclement weather. You will receive advanced notification (Monday evening) if there is a need to delay or cancel school on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
As always, I can be reached at (518) 943-4696 to answer questions and address concerns.
Respectfully submitted,
Dr. Ronel Cook
Superintendent of Schools
